Vicky Jaksic (Ms. J)-Media and Educational Technology Instructor
Ms. J has worked in Fulton County since 2008. Before joining Fulton County Schools, she was a public librarian and has worked for libraries in Wisconsin, Texas, and Georgia. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1996 with her masters in library and information science and obtained her library media certification from Georgia State University in 2008. Ms. J loves taking pictures, binge-watching Netflix series, drinking coffee, and eating turtle sundaes from Culver's. Her favorite book of all time is Cracker: The Best Dog In Vietnam, by Cynthia Kadohata. Cracker is a historical fiction novel for grades 5 and up. You can email Ms. J at [email protected].
Susan Black (Ms. Black) - Media Paraprofessional
Ms. Black has worked at Mountain Park for 24 years. She was an assistant in special needs pre-school for 5 years, kindergarten for 6 years, and the Media Center for the last 11 years. She grew up in the Atlanta area and is a graduate of Tucker High School in DeKalb County and Georgia State University. She has one daughter, Gabby, who is an architect in Atlanta. Ms. Black lives right here in Mountain Park! In her spare time, she likes to make art, jewelry and other hand-made items. She is also an animal lover, vegan, and enjoys nature and hiking.
